Engine Control Units

Redefining Accuracy.

The latest in 100+ years of world-championship motorsport electronics

When BMW reentered Formula One in 1980, it turned to Bosch to develop the world's first completely digital engine control unit. With race wins and world championship achieved in quick succession, the MP1.1 immediately established the technology as the future of engine control. We haven't slowed down our development in the 40 years since. Today, the Bosch MS 6 ECU range is the choice of OEM race and rally programs.

Many just see another ECU. Some see the possibilities.

The MS 6 Family of ECUs is the state-of-the art solution for engine management in professional motorsport. The MS6's high-speed, high accuracy hardware supports onboard lambda, EGT and manual gear control - no extra boxes required. The accuracy and reliability of critical functions such as torque management, traction control, boost control and paddle shift are completely uncompromised. Sometimes, more really is more.

    THE POWER OF CONNECTION

Native ethernet connection with timesync to other Bosch Motorsport devices such as DDU display and PBX power distribution allows a large amount of synchronous data to be sent to and from devices for control strategies, logging or display. This means separate devices can effectively function as a single powerful computer. Of course, there is also freely configurable CAN if required to connect to 3rd party devices.
